Bambu SUP wants your online experience to be enjoyable, simple and successful. As e-Commerce veterans, we appreciate the importance of getting your order delivered to you in a timely manner, and explaining the whole process upfront.
All Bambu paddle boards ship FREE!* We ship our SUP’s by specialty freight companies, which these companies may vary. Delivery time is typically 7-14 days. Bambu SUP does not offer expedited shipping on stand up paddle boards.
*NOTE: Bambu SUP only ships stand up paddle boards in the Continental United States. We “DO NOT” ship to Hawaii, Alaska, or Puerto Rico. Nor do we ship to APO/FPO addresses.
Board Delivery Instructions
Because of their size, deliveries on stand up paddle boards are different than your regular UPS or USPS delivery. We ship our boards via a freight company. You should:
- Expect a call prior to shipment - The freight company will contact you via the phone number on your order to schedule a convenient delivery time.
- Arrange for personal receipt - You will need to have someone 18 years or older available to take delivery.
- If you are unavailable during delivery times, you may be able to pick up the delivery at the shipping companies warehouse with a picture ID.
Delivery of New Paddleboards
Orders are usually delivered within 7-14 working days. Delivery will be Monday through Friday during normal business hours. You will need to be available to receive, inspect and sign for the shipment. Please specify whether the address is a business or residential address and provide a contact numbers for delivery purposes.
The freight company will contact you to schedule the date and time for delivery.
NOTE: A change of address on paddleboard shipments will be required to an extra charge in the amount of $55.00 per address change within the same state. Shipments to a different state other than the original delivery address will be required to pay additional shipping charges. A change in shipping addresses may cause a delay in the delivery of the products ordered from Bambu SUP.
NOTE: If Delivery Company is unable to schedule a time for delivery, you may be required to pay a daily storage fee. You as the customer are responsible for these fees and will be charged directly by the delivery company.
VERY IMPORTANT! Prior to signing the delivery receipt, you must unpack and inspect the standup paddle board thoroughly for any signs of damage that may have occurred during transit. All shipments are fully insured against damage “PRIOR” to you signing and accepting the delivery, by your signature, it constitutes your final acceptance of the merchandise “AS IS” from the freight company and releases them from any further responsibility. Absolutely no claims or returns can be made after final acceptances from the freight company so, please make sure you are completely satisfied with the appearance of your SUP prior to signing for it. If you do find damage on the board during your visual inspection refuse the shipment and call us immediately at (855) BAMBU10 or by email.
If Your SUP Board Is Damaged, You Have 2 Options:
Option 1: Accept delivery - If you feel that the damage is something you can live with or repair, please accept the delivery, keep the shipping boxes and bubble wrap packaging and contact us immediately. We will do our utmost to determine a refund to compensate you fairly for the damage. Our goal at Bambu SUP is to make sure you are 100% satisfied, for some reason we cannot reach an agreement that makes sense then we will take procession of the board and send you a replacement immediately at no additional charges.
Option 2: Refuse shipment - If you don't feel compensation will satisfy you, just refuse shipment. Important: write: "refused due to damage" on the shipping receipt and notify us immediately. We will ship out a replacement board immediately.
NOTE: Shipments that are required due to the replacement of original order may take 7-14 days for transit, just like the 1st shipment.
